Pool skimmers and jets
Skimmers and jets are an essential part of every pool. They work in tandem to help keep the pool water clean and ensure proper water circulation.

The skimmer's job is to collect dirt from the surface before it sinks to the bottom, therefore preventing the formation of algae and microbes in the pool. The skimmer sucks the pool water into the filter unit and it then drains into a plastic container, which is usually located 5 to 10 cm below the pool's top edge. A coarse pre-filter (basket) is placed inside this plastic inlet, this basket retains coarser mechanical impurities. Then, water pre-purified in this way is pumped through the pump to the filter, and from there, the return nozzles return the water to the pool. Another important thing depends on the pool's specific shape, and that is where the return jets open. Generally, the nozzles should return the water 20 to 30 cm below the water level to circulate the water evenly in the pool.
